Statement
Mother Earth is alive! A living, breathing organism! Yet, we are
people and an planet on the edge of disaster
chemical poisoning,
ecosystem collapse, ozone depletion. So much of our living, unconscious
and separate from Earth and the environment around us, has created
profound spiritual disintegration as well as technological crisis.
I see communication as one potent means to begin to heal the abandonment
of our relationship to the Earth
art-making that affects
the viewer
interaction that develops consciousness, planting
seeds for positive change. I want my work to speak of forces larger
than the individual, the erosive and regenerative power of nature
unearthing various layers
a way to compress time
to
be brought into the past and present in the same moment. Beauty
as means of uplifting the whole. And, ultimately, an expression
of hope as well as transformation, balance, and peace!
