Artist
Statement
This installation is a three dimensional puzzle fitted together
to symbolize the power and tenacity of life in overcoming the
effects of conflict. The three paintings mounted in the center
show 1) how people cope with being torn from their homes and families,
2) the role that the United Nations has played in rebuilding war-torn
societies, and 3) giving love and hope to the new generation.
