Find Associates, Inc. is a New York City based appraisal
company established in 1988. Our company appraises Household
Contents that includes, lighting, furniture, rugs,
glassware, porcelains, decorative art objects, silver and many
other household items. In addition we appraise Fine
Art in all media including, paintings, photographs,
drawings, prints, sculpture, and site-specific installations.
Dates of specialization are from the 1930s to the present.
Appraisals are executed for insurance purposes in case of damage
or loss, charitable gift, estate tax, estate planning, and division
of property. Clients include the New York State Dormitory Authority,
City University of New York, corporations, financial institutions,
private collectors, galleries, and insurance companies.
Art Find Associates, Inc. Personnel is compliant with Uniform
Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and appraisals meet
Internal Revenue Service requirements.
Our fees are based on an hourly, daily, or project rate, not on
a percentage of the value of the property. The cost of the appraisal
can be estimated if the client provides a detailed description
of the nature and scope of the project.
