About Ruth Crnkovich
Ms. Crnkovich has worked as a curator, exhibit director and art researcher for more than a decade. She has held positions at the Northern Indiana Arts Association, the Brauer Museum of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, and Governors State University. She has cataloged art for the NIAA, the Brauer Museum, Governors State University and assisted in cataloging works on paper for the AIC. She has judged scores of art exhibits and has given lectures and workshops on professionalizing artist portfolios and collecting art. She is listed in Who’s Who of American Women.

Services and descriptions
1. Independent Curator specializing in exhibits of both contemporary and emerging artists.
  1a.Services include planning exhibit programs, developing budgets, curating art exhibits, and overseeing shipping and installations of art exhibitions based on a theme, subject, artist, period, topic, ECT.
  1b.CRN Fine Art Services works with small museums, universities and arts organizations to curate both temporary and traveling art exhibitions.
  1c.The curator will actively curate all aspects of the exhibition, including coordinating the shipping and installation of the exhibit.
  1d.The curator will work with designer and printer to create labels, catalogs and printed materials when required.
  1e.The fee is based on the scope of the project.
 
2.Collections management for private or corporate collections
  2a.Working with collectors to define, document, insure, and develop collections. Provide referrals for conservation and restoration, as well as consultations on gallery and auction purchases.
  2b. The collections manager will create a management program to organize the collection and see that properinsurance values are in place with the insurance company .
  2c.This ongoing service requires a retainer, which will be determined by the needs of the collector.
   
3.Appraisals for fine art and general content
  3a.Specializing in contemporary art, American and Midwestern Art. Experience in paintings, works on paper, contemporary art glass, contemporary ceramics, modern and contemporary silver hollowware , sculpture and general contents.
  3b.CRN Fine Art Services will provide formal written appraisals for Insurance, IRS (donations or Estate tax), Estate Planning, Equitable Distribution (Divorce), and other valuation purposes.
  3c.The appraisal fee is $150 per hour. The client will pay half of the estimated fee at the time of the physical examination. The balance is due at the time the bound written appraisal is delivered.
