Louise Devenish |
Louise
Devenish has been a prominent member of the decorative arts community
for over thirty years. Along with her auction house and antiques
gallery experience, she has taught extensively about the subject.
She lectures widely for such groups as The National Society of Colonial
Dames, museums and historical societies as well as auction galleries.
Ms. Devenish has partcipated in an International Confederation of
Dealers at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and has appeared on television
as a guest panelist to appraise antiques and collectibles. She is
currently on the adjunct faculty of New York University, Parsons
School of Design and Marymount Manhattan College. In addition to
her appraisal services Ms. Devenish advises on all aspects of collecting
and interior design.
